Chelsea Flower Show 2025 Recap
I can't be the only one sitting online watching the Chelsea Flower Show. This is a must see for me each year for inspiration and I hope to visit sometime soon in real life. This year, the show had a fresh wave of inspiration with three trends that really stood out:
1. Wild and Naturalistic Planting
Designers embraced looser, meadow-inspired layouts filled with native plants, grasses, and pollinator-friendly blooms. The look is relaxed, layered, and buzzing with life which is why it is may favorite style for my own garden.
2. Bold Color Combos
Gone are the days of soft pastels only. This year brought vibrant pairings like coral, burgundy, and electric blue. It’s a reminder that bold color can feel just as timeless as tradition. This trend won't be happening in my beds. I love muted colors, so sue me.
3. Gardens with Purpose
From rainwater harvesting to recycled materials, sustainability took center stage. Many gardens told stories about resilience, healing, and climate-conscious design, without losing beauty.
